| Role: Integration Architect | Platform: Salesforce / Boomi |
| Industry: B2B SaaS | Duration: ~6 Months |
Overview
Designed the integration architecture connecting Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP to maintain a single source of truth for customer, contact, and account data across both platforms.
What I Built
- Automated account and contact synchronization from Salesforce to NetSuite on create and update events
- Financial profile sync, writing payment terms, credit limits, and aging balances back to Salesforce
- Fuzzy matching and duplicate detection logic to prevent split or redundant customer records
- Field-level conflict resolution rules eliminating circular update loops across bi-directional endpoints
- Administrative sync status dashboard in Salesforce providing real-time visibility into integration health
Architecture
Implemented a “Salesforce as master for customer identity” governance framework. Under this model, Salesforce owns core customer demographics and contact hierarchy while NetSuite retains sole authority over billing terms and credit attributes, with Boomi enforcing transactional boundaries and conflict resolution rules.
Tech Stack
Outcome: Eliminated dual-maintenance of customer records. Data discrepancy tickets reduced to near zero within 60 days.
